Mountain Bike Buying Tips For Beginners
Posted by Unknown on Sunday, November 4, 2012
Create your mountain bike with the virus and plans to buy a mountain bike, it helps you do a little research - scale about what kind of bike would you buy. Rather than regret after purchasing, better research sometime. Do not hurry - hurry ya.
I am also including one who fell in love with the mountain bike activity, especially Cross Country (XC). Maybe if compared with others who've long wrestled a world-mountain bike's, to my knowledge not much. But this is from my experience as well in choosing my first mountain bike. So do not hurt me to share tips so make friends - another friend.
The first thing to understand that there are several types of bikes that are shared by the user.
Bike City: the bicycles used in road - urban roads or streets - a smooth road. This bike is not designed to face conflict, so it is not given a suspension.
XC (Cross Country): This type of bike designed for mild to moderate hiking. These bikes can be used on roads - urban roads to rural roads are still not paved. This type of bike is also equipped with the front suspension to reduce collision - minor collisions.
All Mountain: This type of bike designed for hiking / off-road with the rugged terrain (rocky and remote), up and down hills and exploring in the woods. Bikes of this type generally have front and rear suspension.
Down Hill: Bike type is designed to provide security and comfort for the rider down the hill at a fairly high speed. Always stable when sliding down the hill and can maneuver safely and quickly. This wheel also has a large contact area with the road surface so that the friction wheel bigger. This bike is not comfortable to use on the street - an urban street or XC riders will be faster due to fatigue caused by a large wheel contact area.
Dirt Jump: bike type is used by riders who have a hobby doing jumps - jumps and extreme high while driving on urban streets. This bike is also called Urban Mountain Bike.
